She fought a long legal battle with her mother over finance. The actress was also diagnosed with breast cancer, which weakened her health. On February 21, 1991, she passed away due to cancer. Sadly, in 2004, Nutan's husband Rajnish died in a fire at his penthouse. Today, Nutan is remembered for her incredible work and for being one of the most beautiful faces in Indian cinema.
