Maura Higgins and Rob Rausch Are Hosting the U.S. Version of ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ for Peacock, One Year After Rausch Betrayed Her to Win ‘the Traitors’ Alone

Peacock has paired Maura Higgins with the man who fooled her all the way to a $220,000 solo victory on Season 4 of “The Traitors.” Higgins and Rob Rausch will host the network’s new American take on “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here,” scheduled to launch in 2027 under the working title “Get Me Out of Here.”

The former “Love Island” contestants became close while filming “The Traitors,” where Rausch convinced Higgins that he was a Faithful before revealing himself as a Traitor in the finale. They later reconciled, and he used part of his winnings to buy her the burgundy Togo 30 Birkin she’d wanted.

The Peacock competition will send celebrities into the jungle with a civilian friend or family member. Each pair will face physical and psychological challenges, compete for rewards and try to avoid elimination, with the winning team receiving $100,000. A filming location hasn’t been announced, though many international editions shoot in Australia.

This will be the show’s third U.S. adaptation. ABC aired a version in 2003, followed by NBC in 2009, and each lasted 1 season. ITV America is producing the new series, with David George, David Eilenberg and Jordana Hochman serving as executive producers.
