Robert Pattinson, who played Cedric Diggory in the original Harry Potter films, is now reportedly being considered for a very different role in HBO’s upcoming reboot of the franchise.

According to reports, Pattinson is being eyed to play Voldemort in the new series.

The casting would be a striking full-circle moment for the actor. In the original films, Voldemort is responsible for killing Cedric Diggory — meaning Pattinson could end up playing the character who once killed him on screen.
