· Thought Catalog

If you’re new to the franchise and are looking for other horror movies to give you the same type of fix that Terrifier does, look no further!

Terrifier 3 was a doozy! If you are a fan of the franchise and Art the Clown’s ridiculous and sinister antics, you knew going in that Terrifier 3 would be off the charts with gross-out moments and so much blood. Many viewers were reported as walking out within the first 20 minutes of the film’s release and, if anything, that just made splatter and gore horror fans that much more excited to see the third installment.

Damien Leone is pushing the boundaries of what horror films in theaters can do, which caused Terrifier 3 to be given a Not-Rated rating by the MPAA. The Terrifier franchise has a B-rated horror film aesthetic with a top-of-the-line cast and practical bloodlust effects that will make you squirm in your seat. If you’re a fan, you’ve seen all three Terrifier installments, plus the lesser-known prequel, All Hallows Eve. If you’re new to the franchise and are looking for other horror movies to give you the same type of fix that Terrifier does, look no further! Here are four movies to check out now that you’ve seen it all with Art the Clown!

Haunt (2019)

Momentum Pictures

Haunt is such an underrated gem of a horror movie. While it may not have the full extent of gore that Terrifier does, Haunt makes up for it with thrills, scares, and tension. The writers of A Quiet Place came together to write this horror film about a group of friends who seek out the scariest haunted houses they can find. Unfortunately for them, this haunted house seems a little bit too real. Haunt is streaming on Tubi and Prime Video.

The Collector (2009)

Freestyle Releasing

Fans of The Collector know how amazing this film franchise is. Featuring three installments, The Collector is also about a silent but incredibly deadly killer who sets traps for his victims. A former criminal-turned-handyman discovers The Collector and his messed up games inside the home of one of his clients. It turns into a cat-and-mouse game of survival covered in blood. The Collector is streaming on Tubi and Prime Video.

In A Violent Nature (2024)

IFC Films

The newest movie on this list, In A Violent Nature is a super gory horror film told from the point of view of the killer. In A Violent Nature moves a little slower, but it really delivers in the kill scenes. The killer in question is resurrected from the dead after someone steals a locket from his grave. Stealing that piece of jewelry was a terrible idea because now he is determined to get it back. In A Violent Nature is streaming on Shudder.

100 Tears (2007)

Anthem Pictures

100 Tears is probably the least-known movie here, but worth mentioning when speaking about a killer clown. 100 Tears is a B-rated horror film that follows a circus clown who is wrongly accused of rape. This causes him to have a mental breakdown and go on a murderous rampage to get revenge for being wrongly accused. It has a creepy clown, some pretty gory deaths, and protagonists desperate to stay alive. 100 Tears is streaming on Tubi.
