Sharon Stone Says She’s Been Celibate for “Quite A While” Because She’s Done with Casual Sex at 68

Sharon Stone says she’s been celibate for “quite a while” — and she’s at peace with it. At 68, the actress has decided she’s done with casual sex, and she’s holding out for something that actually means something.

Now that her children are grown, Stone says she wants a companion she genuinely cares for. And she’s willing to wait for that connection rather than settle for less.

For the moment, she describes herself as being in a “no luck at all” phase.

During the Sept. 8 episode of Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown, Stone described herself as “a really good girlfriend” who’s dated both good and bad boyfriends over the years. She was married to producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1990 and to journalist Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004.

Stone adopted her son Roan, 26, with Bronstein in 2000. She later adopted Laird, 21, in 2005, and Quinn, 20, in 2006.

Reflecting on her romantic history, Stone told Bialik she still feels something is missing. “I have had loves in my life, but I don’t think I’ve had the great love of my life,” she said.
