Brooks Nader Says She’s “A Sex Symbol Who Never Has Sex” After Her 2025 Divorce

Brooks Nader is embracing her image as a “sex symbol” — even if her actual love life looks nothing like the steamy persona attached to her new role. Speaking on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards, the 29-year-old model and actress made clear that her private world is far removed from the sizzle surrounding the upcoming Baywatch reboot. She’s been single since divorcing advertising executive Billy Haire in 2025.
If anything, Nader says the single life suits her. She previously told E! News that being on her own has been freeing: “You can do whatever you want when you’re single. Not having to answer to anybody, not having to explain yourself if you’re seen talking or flirting with a guy, dating multiple people.”
The reboot, set to premiere in 2027, will see Nader star alongside Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, and Livvy Dunne. She told People that the cast put in the work before cameras rolled, completing three or four weeks of swimming and lifeguard training and becoming fully certified.

And she didn’t treat the certification as a prop. Nader said she took the CPR training seriously after a Baywatch founder described receiving letters from viewers who’d used skills learned from the original show to save real lives. “I felt a responsibility to take the training seriously because you really don’t know who you could be saving that’s watching at home,” she said.
There was one souvenir she couldn’t get her hands on, though: the show’s signature red swimsuit. Nader wanted to keep hers after filming but wasn’t allowed to take it home. “Baywatch, can you loan me one? Like, it’s my whole personality. Anywhere I go, I should be wearing a red swimsuit.”
