She’s got a Grammy shelf, a billion-dollar empire, and a hand full of avocados. The woman who owns the red carpet spent Thursday afternoon in the refrigerated aisle like everyone else.
In the parking lot she pulled off her sunglasses to greet a fan and pose for a photo before heading in.
Rihanna, 38, was photographed on Thursday, July 2, browsing the produce section during a low-key Los Angeles grocery run, layering a denim jacket over a lace slip da day before the holiday weekend. A companion trailed behind her holding what looked like a camera.
It’s the kind of ordinary errand she’s been leaning into lately. She hasn’t put out a full album since ANTI in 2016, though she’s slipped tracks onto film soundtracks including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Smurfs, and recently teased new studio work in a video alongside her three kids.
Coverage notes she’s unlikely to make Taylor Swift’s New York wedding that weekend. The two collaborated years ago on “This Is What You Came For,” which Swift co-wrote under the pseudonym Nils Sjöberg.
