Sydney Sweeney Arrived by Water Taxi in Venice Looking Pure Old Hollywood

Sydney Sweeney was seen arriving in Venice ahead of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.She’s there for Armani Beauty, which is in its ninth year as the festival’s official beauty sponsor.

Forbes reported on September 1 that the brand has assembled its biggest ambassador group yet on the Lido this week: Sweeney, Kendall Jenner, Jonathan Bailey, Vittoria Ceretti, Nicholas Galitzine, Luca Argentero, J Balvin, and F1 driver Carlos Sainz. None of them have a film in competition.

Armani Beauty global brand president Richard Pinabel told Forbes that cinema “demands a specific kind of beauty, one that reads as real under extreme scrutiny, that enhances rather than transforms.” Sweeney has been a face of the brand for years and has done the Venice water-taxi arrival before, in 2022, 2023, and 2024. She was also back in the city for the June 2025 Bezos-Sánchez wedding, where she met boyfriend Scooter Braun.

Variety reported Wednesday that fans were camping overnight on the Lido hoping to catch her. The festival opened the same night with Danny Boyle’s “Ink” and a lifetime Golden Lion for George Clooney.
