Drake's 'FOMO' Will Hit Streaming Platforms on October 1st

Drake announced during a Sept. 28 stream that most songs from his hour-long "not-so-short-film" 'FOMO' will hit streaming platforms on Thursday, Oct. 1.

The film compiles Toronto summer vignettes, celebrity cameos, and new music, including unreleased collabs with Don Toliver, Yeat, and OnlyHeaven, serving as a visual prelude to his upcoming 2027 tour.

While streaming this past Monday, September 28th, Drake announced that he’ll be dropping most of the tracks from his “not-so-short-film,” ‘FOMO’ on Thursday, October 1st.

“There’s a bunch of songs coming to streaming on Thursday, so all the songs that you guys have been asking [for], well… not all of them, but enough of them are coming on Thursday,” Drake stated.

Directed by Theo Skudra, Liam Macrae, Jake Schreier, Zong Li, and Glenn Michael, and described by the artist as “self-funded surrealism,” Fear of Missing Out compiled an hour’s worth of Toronto summer vignettes, interspersed with music videos from his recent albums Maid of Honour, Habibti, and ICEMAN. The video included scenes on a speedboat on Lake Ontario, at the Casa Loma mansion, around the Canadian National Exhibition fair, and an Iron Man suit cameo with Loe Shimmy. Guest stars across the visual include Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, Stunna Sandy, Kevin Durant, Lena the Plug, and Drake’s mother, Sandi Graham.

Alongside existing visuals for tracks like “WNBA,” “Road Trips,” and “Hoe Phase,” the film debuts new music including a slowed-down remix of Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” featuring Don Toliver, “Quebec” — which is out now on YouTube, and additional collaborations with Toliver, Yeat, and OnlyHeaven.

The YouTube stream was set to private following its debut, returning on September 17th, with Fear of Missing Out serving as a visual prelude to Drake’s scheduled 2027 concert tour, which will mark his first North American trek since 2023.
