by Ayumu Nakamura · HypebeastAn exhibition showcasing photographs taken by one of Japan’s leading musicians, Ryuichi Sakamoto, in the 1980s, titled “PHOTO RYUICHI SAKAMOTO,” will be held from Saturday, October 17th to Sunday, November 8th at SAI in Jingumae, Tokyo.

Related events will also be held during the exhibition period. A talk show featuring critic Atsushi Sasaki and editor Shigeo Goto is scheduled for Saturday, October 17th, and another featuring artist Michihiro Shimabuku and Shigeo Goto will take place on Sunday, November 1st. Both events are first-come, first-served, with a capacity of 40 people, and the participation fee is ¥2,000 (tax included). Additionally, a Polaroid workshop will be held on Saturday, October 24th.
In conjunction with the exhibition, the photo book “PHOTO RYUICHI SAKAMOTO” will be available for pre-sale at the venue.
