The long-running One Piece anime is set to enter its highly anticipated “Elbaph Arc” in 2026. Announced officially by Toei Animation, this new storyline will adapt one of the most eagerly awaited arcs from Eiichiro Oda’s manga, focusing on the land of giants, Elbaph.

This new chapter follows the world-shaking events of the “Egghead Arc,” which concluded with a lengthy hiatus and a special “Log Collection” broadcast period designed to elevate the production quality for the series’ next major milestone. The story brings Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates to the legendary land of the Giants, a destination that has been teased in the narrative for over two decades, dating back to the crew’s first encounter with the giants Dorry and Brogy at Little Garden.

Produced by Toei Animation, the “Elbaph Arc” is set to introduce a fresh visual direction, as showcased in the teaser trailer and character art revealed at the event. The footage previews the crew in new, Viking-inspired attire as they navigate the towering architecture and ancient landscapes of the Giant Warrior Pirates’ homeland.

With original series creator Eiichiro Oda entering the final saga of the manga, this adaptation marks a pivotal moment in the franchise. Fans can expect the return of the series’ veteran voice cast as the Straw Hats embark on what is described as a high-stakes adventure in the “Land of War.” The new One Piece TV anime season is scheduled for an April 5, 2026 premiere in Japan.
