The Weeknd is bringing the “After Hours Til Dawn” CD Collection and a dedicated Tokyo pop-up store to Japan, timing both to the tour’s return. The Japan-exclusive collection pairs with a three-story retail takeover, giving fans a physical release and a space built around it in one coordinated drop.

The collection is the centerpiece, and its headline draw is the artwork. World-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano created the cover art for all four works in the set, lending the release a distinct visual identity. The physical collection arrives September 11, following a digital release on August 28, and includes a new version of “Out of Time” featuring Tomoko Aran. Beyond the CDs, the campaign extends to vinyl, with exclusive tour editions of The Weeknd’s entire album discography pressed with Japanese obi strips, the collectible paper bands that have long distinguished Japanese record releases.

Located at Universal Japan’s flagship, the store spreads across three floors and runs September 11 through 21. Inside, the draw is exclusivity: the store stocks never-before-seen tour merchandise, exclusive collaborations, and apparel available nowhere else. Both the CD collection and the obi-strip vinyl will be on sale there as well as at traditional music retailers, positioning the pop-up as the flagship destination for the launch without locking the music behind its doors.
