Lexus and Tokyo design house AMBUSH have officially unveiled “The Future Classic Club” collection, an ultra-limited apparel and hardware capsule commemorating 25 years of the Lexus IS sports sedan. Creative directed by Yoon Ahn and co-founder VERBAL, the project offers a counterpoint to disposable hype by celebrating enduring design details and shared Japanese craftsmanship.
The collection translates the industrial hardware, structured textiles, and interior details of the Lexus IS into modern streetwear silhouettes. Outerwear leads the drop with the ‘Future Classic Club’ Leather Fireman Jacket ($2,600 USD), constructed with clean driver-ready lines, alongside the red quilted ‘Seat Memory’ Jacket ($780 USD), which mirrors the athletic stitched interior of the vehicle.
The range continues with graphic tops and accessories, including the ‘Future Classic Club’ Crest T-Shirt ($130 USD), the ‘Recorded Design Session’ T-Shirt ($130 USD) featuring reinterpreted IS grille lines and headlight curves, a Long Sleeve Tee ($160 USD), and a co-branded Crest Cap ($120 USD). The hardware offering is completed by a wearable chrome Carabiner ($300 USD) featuring custom engraving. The capsule is introduced alongside a Tokyo-set campaign film directed by Xavier Tera featuring drifter Sara Choi, artist Reo Sano, and musician Reiji Okamoto.
Limited quantities of The Future Classic Club collection will release on September 18, 2026, at midnight EDT / 1 p.m. JST exclusively via AMBUSH.
