Following the announcement of BTS’ V as Nothing’s new Global Brand Ambassador, the London-based tech brand has officially unveiled its flagship audio release, the Headphone (1) Pro. Positioned as the London-based brand’s new flagship audio product, the over-ear headphones are conceived around bridging two traditionally separate listening environments: everyday wireless use and the more precise controls associated with studio work. Rather than departing from the visual identity established by the Headphone (1), the Pro model develops the same transparent, industrial vocabulary with upgraded materials, a revised internal architecture and a greater emphasis on customization.
Aesthetically, the Headphone (1) Pro represents the most distilled execution of Nothing‘s signature transparent design language to date. Refining the brand’s aesthetic approach, the outer ear cups feature shatter- and scratch-resistant 9H Panda glass that offers a subtle view of the complex internal architecture within. Available in sleek metallic black and white colorways, the chassis pairs lightweight aluminum with titanium, replacing conventional steel headband arms to reduce the total weight to 327 grams. Ergonomic enhancements—including a wider headband with thicker padding, softer ear cushions, and an adaptive fit—ensure long-lasting comfort across extended listening sessions
The biggest change sits beneath that semi-transparent exterior. Where conventional headphones typically rely on a single driver, Headphone (1) Pro uses a three-driver architecture, dividing bass, midrange and treble duties between a bass dynamic driver, precision dynamic driver and xMEMS treble driver. Nothing has partnered with Metropolis Studios to extend that hardware toward more studio-minded listening, introducing a dedicated Flat EQ Switch for a neutral sound profile alongside “Studio B,” a Dynamic Spatial Audio mode modeled around the acoustic character of a mixing room. The accompanying Nothing X app pushes customization further through Advanced and Simple EQ controls, Personal Sound settings and custom profiles, reflecting the broader concept behind the Pro designation: giving listeners more control without turning the headphones into a dedicated piece of studio equipment.
Everyday functionality remains an equally significant part of the package, with Nothing introducing its most advanced Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation system to date, rated at up to 46 dB and supported by 10 microphones. Redesigned ear cushions incorporate an 8 mm silicone baffle wall to improve the acoustic seal, while Hi-Res wired and wireless playback, Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking and USB-C lossless audio expand the listening options. Battery life reaches up to 68 hours with ANC switched off, alongside fast charging and an IP52 rating.
