Viz Media has announced an all-new “limited” television anime series for the long-running Naruto franchise. Official details and a full reveal are scheduled to take place during New York Comic Con on October 10.

The revelation will take center stage at the official “NARUTO: What’s Next?” panel, scheduled for October 10 at 5:00 p.m. EDT at the Javits Center, which will also be broadcast globally via a worldwide livestream. Franchise voice veterans Junko Takeuchi (Naruto Uzumaki) and Noriaki Sugiyama (Sasuke Uchiha) will join Pierrot Films executive producer Yoshihiro Tominaga on stage to detail the upcoming project.

The announcement arrives alongside ongoing global expansion for Masashi Kishimoto’s original 1999 manga property, which includes Lionsgate’s upcoming Hollywood live-action film adaptation directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
