Louis Vuitton and Californian atelier Singer have officially revealed two collaborative automotive commissions: the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic and the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo. Guided by the French luxury house’s “Art of Travel” philosophy, the partnership marks the first co-branded project in the history of both brands.
The Classic coupé is built upon a Type 964 chassis featuring lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork finished in archival Saffron and cobalt blue. Powered by a naturally aspirated, air-cooled flat-six engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, the vehicle incorporates a bespoke roof rack designed to carry custom Louis Vuitton skis and a wooden marquetry surfboard. Inside, the cabin is upholstered in natural VVT-inspired leather featuring monogram flower ventilation eyelets, malletage-patterned seat embossing, and hand-finished rhodium-plated metal switchgear. Positioned on the dash is a detachable mechanical clock crafted by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in Switzerland, mirrored across cobalt blue and bright orange instrument displays.
The Classic Turbo cabriolet, conceived by Louis Vuitton Artistic Director of Women’s Collections Nicolas Ghesquière, marries automotive power with nautical aesthetics. Finished in Calcaire Lutétien white with gold accents, the twin-turbocharged flat-six cabriolet features a whale tail rear wing and a rear-opening luggage compartment lined in teak-inspired varnished wood. Both vehicles are complemented by dedicated capsules consisting of made-to-measure driving suits, leather racing jackets, carbon-and-glass-fiber helmets, Tambour Automatic timepieces, and bespoke multi-piece luggage suites tailored precisely to the trunks and cabins.
