ANTA Joins Forces with Designer Chen Peng at Shanghai Fashion Week

During the Spring/Summer 2027 Shanghai Fashion Week, ANTA hosted a product innovation forum themed “From China to the World, From Originality to the Future.” The event brought together Chen Peng—founder of the CHENPENG label and guest creative director for ANTA—alongside a host of fashion industry insiders to explore the fusion of homegrown original design and sportswear.

A major highlight of the forum was ANTA’s retrospective on its three-year collaboration with Chen Peng. What began as early collaborative releases has evolved into a long-term creative partnership, culminating in the official launch of the ANTA Shanghai Design Center – Chen Peng Studio this September. This new hub seamlessly merges the designer’s creative vision with the brand’s robust internal R&D, product planning, and supply chain resources, propelling original design into the commercial sphere.

On the product front, the duo drew inspiration from ANTA’s historic Champion Dragon uniforms to create the all-new “Down Dragon” jacket. The piece extracts the classic structural panels, sleek silhouettes, and vibrant color palettes of the original uniforms, while reimagining the shoulder lines and body proportions for everyday wear. Crafted with 95% RDS-certified premium down boasting a 900+ fill power and finished with a bio-based water-repellent fabric, the Down Dragon jacket strikes the perfect balance between high-performance warmth and effortless urban style.

Concurrently, ANTA unveiled its ANTA ICONIC collection at the Spring/Summer 2027 MODE Shanghai fashion trade show, translating competitive sports culture into ready-to-wear, hoodies, and footwear. A standout is the Peace Dove capsule collection; inspired by the Olympic spirit, it champions sustainability through eco-friendly printing techniques, recycled fabrics, and recycled-material shoe boxes, seamlessly weaving environmental consciousness into the core of its product design.
