Zach Bryan Marries Girlfriend Samantha Leonard in Private Ceremony

· Rolling Stone

After a tumultuous year marked by a messy public breakup with BFFs podcaster Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia and a tiff with Gavin Adcock, Zach Bryan is wrapping 2025 by tying the knot.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that the musician married his now-wife Samantha Leonard during a private ceremony in San Sebastian, Spain, and their engagement was not previously announced. A short video posted by the outlet appears to show Bryan carrying Leonard from a church to a convertible and the happy couple driving away. A rep for the artist did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The news arrives just over a year after Bryan confirmed his split from LaPaglia in October 2024, about a year after taking their relationship public and ending his previous relationship with Deb Peifer in May 2023. His breakup with LaPaglia soon took the internet by storm amid intense fan scrutiny online and during a BFFs episode, the podcaster accused the country singer of emotional abuse and alleged that he offered her $12 million to sign a non disclosure agreement. (Bryan has yet to comment directly on the accusations.)

Earlier this year, the singer was also involved in an altercation with Georgia country singer Gavin Adcock after Bryan scaled a fence at the Born & Raised Festival to confront Adcock.

In November, Bryan shared a candid update on his life and mental health, revealing that he’d been experiencing “earth-shattering panic attacks” and anxiety. To address these problems, Bryan said he stopped drinking and started going to therapy.

“I feel great, I feel content, I feel whole,” he wrote at the time. “There is nothing to get me by anymore,” he continued. “If you or any of your friends are too tough, too scared, or too stubborn to reach out, know that the most stubborn dumbass on the planet did and didn’t regret it.”

Now, the newly married Bryan will kick off the first leg of the With Heaven On Tour in March. The trek will be the musician’s first proper tour since his extensive 2024 Quittin’ Time run.
