What’s Going on Between Karol G, Drake, and Bruno Mars?

Karol G has won the hearts of many fans — and now she seems to have done the same with two major stars: Bruno Mars and Drake. Both artists were featured on the Colombian artist’s new album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto: Mars harmonized alongside Karol for her first fully English-language song “Still,” and Drake offered a verse on the sultry number “Ahí.”

Since the release of the LP, Mars and Drake appear rather smitten over Karol — and all three of them have been leaning into some high-profile flirtation and playful competition across social media. It could all just be a marketing tactic for each collaboration, but it’s got fans and media intrigued. So what’s going on with this supposed love triangle?

Mars offered a fairly romantic verse on “Still,” when he sang, “I’ll do whatever, girl, forever just to please you” with his signature honeyed voice. The singer seems to have taken that to heart. Just before the release of her album, Karol and Mars sang the track onstage at Mars’ Las Vegas club The Pinky Ring for a no-phones audience. In pictures Karol posted from the night, the pair seemed to have had one hell of a time.

In August, Karol told Rolling Stone that she and Mars pulled an all-nighter to finish the track. “Honestly, having a song with Bruno is something I still can’t believe,” she said.

A couple weeks later, Mars joined Karol onstage in Los Angeles to sing “Still” — and record a lovey-dovey music video for the song. “That don’t look like acting to me Carolina,” Mars commented on the Colombian singer’s post announcing the visual. As one commenter pointed out, “Bruno in the comments stirring the pot like he wasn’t part of the problem.”

In September, Karol and Mars kept the romantic energy alive when the Colombian singer starred in Mars’ own music video for “Dance With Me.” In the visual, Karol and Mars portray lovers once again — and even share a dramatic, firework-spurring embrace at the end. A day after the video was released, Karol posted a picture of Mars attending one of her concerts.

Mars then dedicated an entire post to Karol’s role in the music video. “For those that don’t know this beautiful woman works so hard and loves her fans so much,” he wrote. “She calls me and tells me how blessed we both are,” he added. Karol commented on the sweet note and signed off her comment with an even sweeter salutation: “Forever your princesa, Carolina.”

Mars wasn’t the only collaborator trying to win Karol’s affections. Drake has been showing his love for Karol since earlier this year, when he name-checked the Colombian singer on Maid of Honour‘s “New Bestie” with the same bar that would go on to appear on No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. In July, he made it out to the Viajando Por El Mundo Troptiour stop in Toronto, where he appeared on the jumbotron.

As Karol told RS, she and Drake first linked up when he slid into her DMs … asking her to send a video to his masseuse who is a big Karol fan. “I sent it and then we kept talking about how cool it would be to do something together,” she said, adding, “I think that people have been waiting for this collaboration.”

In September, Drake embodied his Champagne Papi persona when he joined Karol onstage in Houston to sing “Ahí” live for the first time. The pair leaned into the flirty energy of the track when Karol danced on Drake, and he yelled out, “Ay, que rico!” Karol later posted a carousel dedicated to the performance with shots of her and Drake up close and personal.

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that Karol had visited Drake’s residence in Houston after one of the rapper’s associates posted pictures with the Colombian singer.

Bruno and Drake Confront Each Other

As the flirtatious energy between Karol and Bruno and Karol and Drake continues to heat up and sparks dating rumors, both men have made their interest clear.

After Karol and Drake had their sultry moment in Houston, Mars posted a picture to his Instagram grid — notably, not just his story — with the lovelorn caption: “When you see Drake dancing with your latina crush in 4k @karolg @champagnepapi Respond to me asap!! | have to get her back! I must get her back! I will get her back!.” Of course, Karol reposted the picture.

Neither artist has commented on the love triangle rumors, but it’s clear they’re all having fun with it — and that Drake and Mars want a Latina.
