See Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Lee Curtis Spoof ‘You Can See Everything’

· Rolling Stone

Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Lee Curtis spoofed You Can See Everything in a cold open sketch where the host questioned whether the actress wanted to appear on The Tonight Show.

Fallon, as Nathan Fielder, asked Curtis’ Elizabeth Holmes, “Now, be honest. Do you really want to be on the show tonight?” “Of course I do. I love talking to you,” Curtis’ Holmes said in the spoof that mirrored the documentary’s viral teaser trailer.

“So, you’re not just here to promote your new show. Newlyweds?” Fallon/Fielder asked. “No, I’m engaging with you as a human being,” Curtis/Holmes replied. “Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that. There’s nothing for me to deceive you on.”

It turns out Curtis was in fact there to promote her new show Newlyweds, which the actress both co-created and co-stars in:

Thankfully, The Tonight Show opted to spoof one of the more widely seen scenes from the hit documentary and not spoil one of the three-hour film’s many surprises. “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move,” A24 previously said of You Can See Everything in a synopsis. ” What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss”
