“The holy grail,” says farmer-turned-brewery-owner Mike Shaw, “is to produce a beer that’s 100 per cent home-grown.”
Shaw is showing me around Devilbend Farm Beer Co, which he and his family opened at Tuerong, on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, last year. The brewery itself and a bustling tap room and restaurant are located inside a rustic old shed and cool store.
