There’s a general suspicion among older job hunters that something is stacked against them. Be it artificial intelligence, algorithms or straight-out ageism, over-50s searching for work often find themselves rejected.

There are still jobs to go around, but the hiring process is now more tedious for everyone involved as AI makes it easier to send in applications while simultaneously adding extra layers to the affair.
