ordon Gogos’ Sydney studio hums with the sound of industrial machines slowly sewing and compressing strips of colourful fabric. Scraps of garments and soft furnishings, some of the material will become clothing so sculptural it seems to wear the wearer, and some is being worked into a series of giant wall panels for Gogo’s first solo institutional show, Parádeisos, opening at UNSW Galleries in Sydney on May 29.
