Eight new billionaires among 15 Rich List debuts this year

The boom in artificial intelligence and data centres has minted a new wave of wealth, introducing five founders, including one in his 30s, to the Financial Review Rich List for the first time.
Katrina Leslie, who founded an AI-enabled job search business, debuts at No.67 with an estimated fortune of $2.5 billion, followed by Firmus co-founder Oliver Curtis at No.146 with an estimated fortune of $1.25 billion; Grafana Labs co-founder Anthony Woods (No.194) is worth an estimated $881 million; and brothers Daniel and William Roberts, former Macquarie executives who founded Iren in 2018, debut at No.200 with $853 million. All five fortunes are built on AI and data centres.
