Kyle and Jackie O implosion opens up Sydney’s $200m radio market

For more than 20 years, Amanda Keller and Brendan “Jonesy” Jones helmed the Sydney breakfast radio show on Gold 101.7, formerly WSFM, spending most of that time in second, third or fourth place in the ratings.
Likewise, Michael “Wippa” Wipfli and Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald spent more than 14 years together in the same breakfast slot on Sydney’s Nova 96.9, joined by Kate Ritchie in 2023.
