n the opening scene in the James Bond film Goldfinger, Sean Connery’s 007 swims underwater to secretly infiltrate a Latin American oil refinery. Sneaking into the facility, he attaches plastic explosives to barrels of nitroglycerine. Making his escape, he unzips his wetsuit to reveal a pristine white tuxedo beneath, complete with pleated shirt and bow tie. Strolling into a nearby bodega, he pauses to add a flower to his buttonhole, then glances at his Rolex Submariner and lights a cigarette – just as the sound of the blast rattles the walls.
