It was the settlement Luke Sayers’ friends and advisers were waiting for. On Friday, 19 months after a lewd photo posted to X blew up his life, the former boss of PwC and president of Carlton Football Club publicly apologised to his ex-wife, Cate, for suggesting she was the poster.
Not that he was there to apologise in person. He was in Italy.
