Your first trip overseas?
As a dancer, you either love to travel or you’re in trouble, because touring will be part of your life. I grew up just outside Barcelona, but at 17, found myself in Rome, Budapest, Zagreb and Paris; places I would never have been able to go with my family.
Do you have a travel strategy?
When I am working in a new or different city, I have this fantasy that I am a local, commuting to work, getting lunch, dining out in the neighbourhood.
