COMO Shambhala Estate, overlooking Bali’s Ayung River, just north of Ubud, ranks as one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. So when COMO Hotels founder Christina Ong debuted a series of enhancements and renovations to mark the flagship property’s 20th birthday late in 2025, my interest was piqued. But I travel for a living. There needed to be more to lure me, even to such a paradise. Then, I heard about the rebooted Ojas Wellness Centre, featuring hyperbaric oxygen chambers, infrared saunas and cold therapy, and vitamin and ozone infusions. Ticket booked.
