A first look at Melbourne’s new $150m luxury hotel

David Flack is standing in the lobby of the 188-room Hannah St Hotel, his biggest interior design project to date. After 5½ years fine-tuning every interior element, the star designer is finally ready to give Life & Leisure the first tour of the boutique stay, in Melbourne’s Southbank.
Opening this month, the hotel is housed in the triangular 10-storey podium of the Queensbridge Building, a new $150 million development that also includes 350 apartments over 65 storeys.
