Somewhere above Manhattan, the distinction between architecture and atmosphere begins to dissolve.

In an apartment on the 53rd floor of Central Park Tower – about halfway up the world’s tallest residential building – clouds scud by at eye level. Low-lying afternoon sun ricochets through a forest of neighbouring skyscrapers before beaming westward towards New Jersey. The interior space feels like an extension of the weather; light pools across polished surfaces while reflections ripple over fluted glass columns.
