Parisian interiors icon Liaigre’s singular style comes to Sydney

he Liaigre pop-up furniture shop at the base of Sydney’s 19th-century Department of Lands building is laid out like a super-chic city apartment. Just off the lobby of what is now known as The Lands by Capella, the two-month residency holds archive pieces by the late French interior designer and architect Christian Liaigre – including sofas and armchairs he designed in the mid-1990s for The Mercer Hotel in New York – interspersed with new designs by the Parisian studio that carries on his name.
