On Harbour Island in the Bahamas, India Hicks – former Ralph Lauren model, one-time flowergirl to Princess Diana, interior designer, jeweller and occasional television host – has a saying: “We put the shady characters in the sun.”
It’s a characteristic quip from Hicks, whose love of hosting is channelled into her new book, India Hicks: Entertaining, with a Side of Chaos. “I love the mix of people we have at our parties. Life is never boring.”
