This all-electric family SUV drives like a hypercar

The most powerful road-going Porsche ever is a family-sized SUV. Specifically this one: the new Cayenne Turbo Electric. With a simply insane 850 kW and 1500 Nm in “Overboost” mode, this outpunches even Ferrari’s million-dollar Luce electric sedan (though to be fair, the Luce is more than 400 kilograms lighter).
And things could become quicker still, considering Porsche’s propensity to continually add variants throughout a model’s lifespan. There are now at least 20 distinct types of 911 for example, so we could yet see a Cayenne Turbo S, or Cayenne Turbo GT.
