Mahjong is finding favour with a new generation

When did you start playing mahjong?
Last Chinese New Year, my great friend [architect] Fiona Young organised a game of mahjong for people in the architecture and design community. It was incredibly fun, and since then it has become a regular event with nine or 10 people. Many of us have Asian heritage, so it’s wonderful to feel connected with our parents, aunties and grandparents through this ancient, loud game.
