Locate Latvian Literature in Leipzig

Latvian authors Laura Vinogradova, Rasa Bugavičute-Pēce, Svens Kuzmins and Andris Kalnozols, as well as translators Brita Ringere, Lile Reifa and Svens Oto will participate in the upcoming events.

The authors were chosen to participate because all four have recently had their books published in German.

“It is a great pleasure that the work invested bears fruit, and new Latvian literary works continue to be published in Germany every year, and authors have the opportunity to meet their German readers, which is also confirmed by the rich program of events in Leipzig,” said Inga Bodnaruka Mrazauskas, head of the “Latvian Literature” platform which promotes Latvia's literary endeavours.

A total of nine Latvian literary events will take place both inside and outside the Leipzig Book Market where the Latvian stand will be D305, in hall no. 4.
