Director Anil Ravipudi unveiled a comic concept video for his upcoming film with Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram. Featuring an Animal-inspired spoof, the promo reveals the film's Rayalaseema backdrop and family-entertainer setting.

Director Anil Ravipudi has once again turned a film announcement into an event in its own right. The filmmaker's latest promotional video for his upcoming film with Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram reveals a humorous Animal (Ranbir Kapoor's film) connection, using its background score while revealing key details about the project.

The video, shared by Venkatesh on social media, is presented as a playful 'concept video' in which the cast members came up with a viral promotional idea for the film.

Featuring Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh, Krithi Shetty and music composer GV Prakash Kumar, the skit revolves around the actors jokingly complaining about the intense situations director Anil Ravipudi puts them through while filming.

The fun escalates when Ravipudi enters the scene wearing a traditional turban and carrying a sword, declaring himself the 'Concept King'. As the cast brainstorms ways to make the announcement memorable, Venkatesh creates the promo's standout moment by drawing blood from Ravipudi's hand and applying a veera tilakam on the director's forehead.

With music from Ranbir Kapoor's Animal playing in the background, the sequence playfully spoofs the larger-than-life hero elevation moments that have become popular in recent action films. The entire scene is staged for humour, with the rest of the cast joining in on the joke.

While the video embraces action-film aesthetics, it ultimately reveals that the project itself will be a family-oriented entertainer set against a Rayalaseema backdrop.

The announcement comes just days after the film was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. The event ended speculation surrounding the female leads, confirming Keerthy Suresh opposite Venkatesh and Krithi Shetty opposite Kalyan Ram.

Tentatively titled VenkyAnil5, the project marks the fifth collaboration between Venkatesh and Ravipudi following the success of F2, F3, Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. It also reunites Ravipudi with Kalyan Ram more than a decade after Pataas, the director's debut film.

Backed by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens in association with Suresh Productions and Zee Studios, the film is scheduled as a major Sankranthi 2027 release.
