25-year-old singer dies after coming into contact with high-power line at Noida hotel

A 25-year-old professional singer, Gaurav, accidentally came into contact with an 11 kV power line while looking out from a hotel corridor window.

A 25-year-old professional singer died of electrocution at a hotel in Greater Noida after coming into contact with an 11 kV power line while standing in the corridor.

The victim, Gaurav, had come to the hotel with a female friend. While looking outside through a window in the hotel corridor, his hand came into contact with the nearby high-voltage power line and died on the spot.

The incident was captured on the hotel’s CCTV camera.

Gaurav, who worked as a singer, was a resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh.

Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. The body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination.
