Ben Affleck praises ex-wife Jennifer Lopez's performance in Unstoppable

Hollywood star and producer Ben Affleck thinks former partner Jennifer Lopez was 'spectacular' in the film Unstoppable. The film has been co-produced by Affleck and Matt Damon.

Hollywood star Ben Affleck has showered praise on his former partner and artiste Jennifer Lopez for her performance in the film Unstoppable. Affleck called the actor's act in the movie "spectacular," reported Entertainment Tonight.

Unstoppable has been co-produced by Affleck and his longtime friend Matt Damon.

Unstoppable tells the inspiring story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who triumphed to win the NCAA national championship despite being born with just one leg. In the film, Robles is portrayed by Jharrel Jerome, known for his role in Moonlight, while Lopez plays his mother, Judy.

Affleck said the film, which is yet to release in cinemas, has been winning the hearts of critics because it is "rooted in the passion of really talented artistes. It kind of speaks to a certain kind of thing I guess we're drawn to, which is we really believe in the power of storytelling when the people involved in it are deeply emotionally connected to the story," said the actor.

Unstoppable premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and will hit cinemas on December 6.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got married in August, 2022. Lopez reportedly filed for divorce a couple of months ago, on their second wedding anniversary.
