Actor Aishwarya Lekshmi has dismissed reports linking her to Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming film Raaka, saying she is not part of the project. Speaking exclusively to India Today, the actor clarified that speculation around her casting was incorrect.
Her response comes after reports suggested that she was being considered for a role in the film, with some even claiming that she could appear in a negative part.
Addressing those rumours directly, Aishwarya said, "No, I am not part of the film. Somebody please cast me in the film."

Buzz around Raaka
Raaka marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Atlee and remains one of the most closely watched upcoming projects.
The project also boasts a star-studded ensemble across its dual eras. While Mrunal Thakur is set to lead the modern-day narrative, the historical Vedic segment features Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna. Adding further weight to the production, Shah Rukh Khan is slated to shoot an extended cameo in an international schedule.
In the film's Puranic Vedic era, Deepika reportedly portrays a pregnant woman fighting for survival, whose arc intersects directly with Rashmika’s character, who functions as a guide and protector. Meanwhile, Janhvi essays a tribal queen operating as a key authority figure in the ancient timeline, contrasting with Thakur’s contemporary narrative arc.
While this is Deepika's second film with Atlee after actor Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (2023), this will be her first collaboration with Allu Arjun.
The makers have also kept plot details under wraps. A teaser was recently released, which carried the line: "Beyond what seemed possible. We Dared to Imagine. We Dared to Archive. Raaka: A global triumph (sic)". This followed an earlier ‘37’ hint that added to the intrigue around the project.
