Four teens, including a student of class 10 and his three friends were arrested in Agra for allegedly blackmailing his teacher after secretly filming a compromising video of her. The student, along with his friends, shared the video on Instagram, leading to widespread public outrage.

The teacher had been tutoring the student in her residence. The accused recorded the video of her bathing during one of his visits. He then used the video to blackmail her into a physical relationship.

When the teacher tried to distance herself and blocked his contact, the student circulated the video among his friends and later posted it on Instagram. The teacher, fearing public humiliation, was pushed to the brink of suicide.

After the teacher rejected further contact, the student pressured her to meet his friends, causing her severe emotional distress.

A support team from the "Mission Shakti" campaign intervened, and Agra's Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Suraj Rai arrested the student and his three accomplices. One suspect, who created the Instagram page, remains at large.

Vishal Sharma, Vice Chairman of the Hindustani Biradari, condemned the violation of the teacher-student relationship, calling it an "unforgivable crime."

Social activist Sameer Qureshi echoed this sentiment, stressing that students who disrespect their teachers cannot prosper in life. Activist Vijay Upadhyay also condemned the rising trends of substance abuse and inappropriate behaviour among young people, emphasising the importance of respect for educators.
