Actors Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar are set to headline the rural horror film Kheti, with the makers unveiling its first-look poster on May 20. Neha Sargam,
best known for shows like Chand Chupa Badal Mein, Doli Armaano Ki and Mirzapur, has also been announced as part of the cast.

Written and directed by Haris Imtiyaz Khan, Kheti is produced by Sana Khan under the BlackCanvas Studio banner. The official synopsis says the film revolves around family history and confronting the past. The project also stars Virendra Saxena and Shaji Choudhary, with more details expected to be announced in the coming days.

Jackie Shroff has a packed slate of films. In 2025, he was seen in titles such as Housefull 5, Tanvi The Great, They Call Him OG, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri and Krishnavartam Part 1: The Heart.

His upcoming projects also include Welcome To The Jungle and The Great Grand Superhero.

The Great Grand Superhero is written and directed by National Award-winner Manish Saini and is set to release in theatres on May 29. It centres on childhood imagination, wonder, and the bond between a grandfather and his grandson.

Welcome To The Jungle, an extension of Welcome franchise, revolves around a fake film that goes wrong, with confusion, over-the-top humour and a comedy of errors driving the plot. It stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Tusshar Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 26.

Sharad Kelkar’s recent work

Sharad Kelkar was last seen in the 2025 films Sky Force and Dil Dosti Aur Dogs, as well as the web series Taskaree. On television, he is currently seen in Tumm Se Tumm Tak.
