Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and actor Nayanthara offered prayers at Tirupati temple a day before the release of Love Insurance Kompany. The sci-fi romantic entertainer is set for release on April 10.

A day before the release of Vignesh Shivan's directorial Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), the filmmaker and his wife, actor-producer Nayanthara, visited the Tirupati temple to offer prayers. The couple were dressed in traditional attire and posed for photographs with a few fans after their darshan.

For the temple visit, Nayanthara was seen in a white kurta and leggings with a green printed dupatta, while Vignesh Shivan wore a saffron kurta and silk dhoti.

Scheduled to release on April 10, LIK is a sci-fi romantic entertainer featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty, and SJ Suryah in lead roles. The film also includes supporting performances by Gouri Kishan, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Shah Ra, Malavika, Mysskin, Anandaraj, and Sunil Reddy.

The story is set in 2040, where a company insures love in a world that insures everything. The protagonist's app predicts and manages relationship risks until he experiences love personally. However, when the system labels his relationship a failure, it begins to affect his own love life, revealing that it manipulates love rather than just predicting it.

Vignesh Shivan has reunited with music composer Anirudh for the film. The crew also includes Ravi Varman as the director of photography and Pradeep E Ragav as the editor. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have bankrolled the film along with producer SS Lalit Kumar.

Aside from LIK, Nayanthara is involved in multiple projects across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. She recently appeared in Chiranjeevi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, released during Pongal/Sankranti, and her last Tamil release was The Test, which premiered on Netflix.

Her upcoming projects include Dear Students, NBK 111, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, Mannangatti Since 1960, Patriot, Mookuthi Amman 2, Hi, and Rakkayie. She has also joined Salman Khan's upcoming film SVC63, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, as the female lead.

Love Insurance Kompany suffered a lot of delays and is now one of the anticipated films this year.
