Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are getting married in December this year. A photo of their wedding invite is now going viral on social media. The invite includes the names of their family members and the date of the auspicious occasion.

It seems the couple also distributed a goodies-basket along with the wedding invite, to show their love and respect for the guests. The contents of the basket included a piece of cloth (saree or a dupatta), a wooden scroll, food packets and other confectionery items. It was designed as a traditional invitation, rooted in the Telugu culture with visuals of temples, bells, banana trees and a cow printed on the card.

Chay and Sobhita will be tying the knot on December 4, Wednesday. The couple has reportedly decided to get hitched at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a place that holds emotional significance for the Akkineni family.

Several reports suggest that it was Chay and Sobhita's decision to honour his family legacy by starting their wedding journey from the Annapurna Studios. The studio was built by the actor's late grandfather, the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), and they wanted to celebrate spiritual energy and seek blessings from his ancestors by getting married there.

While the ceremony is going to be traditional and private, the couple is trying to make it look as homely as possible. Various reports also suggested that Sobhita refused to hire any popular stylist or a mega team to doll her up at the wedding. Instead, it is believed that she has sourced her wedding outfit from a local shop, and has decided to ditch all the extra extravaganza for the sacred rituals.

The pre-wedding ceremonies for the couple began in October. Sobhita even shared a glimpse of a traditional pre-wedding ceremony that took place at her house in the presence of her mother and other women in the family.

Chay and Sobhita got engaged in the presence of their family members in August this year. The former was earlier married to Samantha. They announced their separation on social media in October 2021.
