The trailer of Bandar starring Bobby Deol is finally out, offering a tense glimpse into Anurag Kashyap's dark thriller packed with mystery, crime and fading stardom.

The trailer of Bandar, starring Bobby Deol, is out. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the trailer offers viewers a deeper look into the film’s unsettling and unpredictable world ahead of its theatrical release on June 5.

Running for over two minutes, the trailer is packed with sharp twists, tense moments, dark humour and emotionally charged performances. The film also marks Deol’s first collaboration with Kashyap.

Keeping the trailer at the centre of the conversation, Bandar introduces Deol in a role far removed from his recent appearances in Animal and The Ba***ds of Bollywood. He plays a once-celebrated actor clinging to fading stardom, charismatic in public but visibly isolated behind closed doors.

The trailer gradually shifts from his flashy stage appearances to a darker reality, with the actor eventually landing behind bars as the mystery around him deepens.

The trailer follows Deol’s character through a chaotic world where charm and danger exist side by side. In one sequence, he casually swipes through dating profiles, barely remembering names, until one particular connection appears to trigger a criminal case.

As the narrative unfolds, the trailer avoids offering easy answers about its lead character. Instead, it presents him as intelligent, manipulative and deeply entangled in a system that may not always deliver justice fairly. The trailer also hints that the story draws inspiration from real events.

Alongside Bobby Deol, the film features an ensemble cast including Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Riddhi Sen and Jitendra Joshi.

The film is directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, the duo known for projects such as Paatal Lok, Kohrra and Udta Punjab.

Produced by Nikhil Dwivedi’s Saffron Magicworks and backed by Zee Studios, Bandar is slated theatrical release on June 5, 2026.
