Vivek Oberoi recalls Ajith’s warmth
Marking the occasion, Vivek shared a throwback photo from their 2017 film Vivegam and described Ajith as a “humble superstar” and a “wonderful human being”. Recalling their first meeting during the Bulgaria schedule of the 2017 film directed by Siva, Vivek wrote that Ajith’s gesture left a lasting impression.
“Today we celebrate a humble superstar and a wonderful human being. We were shooting in the freezing cold of Bulgaria when I first met Ajith Anna. He didn’t just greet me with his quintessential and humble ‘Vivek Ji’, he immediately poured me a cup of tea. ‘It’s very cold, this will keep you warm,’ he said, before proceeding to pour cups for my entire crew himself (sic),” Vivek wrote.
Vivek added that Ajith’s warmth extended beyond that first interaction. During the shoot, when the team was missing home food, the actor stepped into the kitchen himself.
“Sensing we were all missing the taste of home, he walked into the kitchen and cooked a meal for the entire crew. He could have easily ordered food, but instead chose to put hours of care into something we would never forget. That is the measure of the man (sic),” he wrote, adding that it was a privilege to share a bond with him.
