Actor Ananya Panday, rumoured to be dating American model Walker Blanco, recently opened up about her past relationships, her take on romance, and the red flags she watches for in a relationship. The 26-year-old actor also admitted to changing herself for a partner in one of her previous relationships. Ananya was previously rumoured to be in a relationship with actor Aditya Roy Kapur.

Emphasising the importance of friendship in relationships, Ananya admitted to altering her behaviour in the past. Speaking on Raj Shamani's podcast, the CTRL actor shared, "I have been in a relationship where I have changed myself a lot, but not to the point that it turned bad... You do things to impress in the beginning of a relationship, and you don’t realise how much you are changing for your partner."

Ananya also discussed recognising red flags in a relationship and why she believes half-hearted efforts don't work. "I don’t think you see a red flag in a relationship immediately. When you are out of a relationship, at that time you realize that it could have been done better. If I am in a relationship, I will do everything to figure it out and sort it out. I see the best in people, do my best, and give it my all in a relationship, but I expect that from my partner also. For me, half-heartedness doesn’t work. If you are in a relationship, you have to show loyalty and respect," said Ananya.

The actor also shared her idea of an ideal partner, saying, "The idea of romance is someone who listens to me. It can be as simple as, suppose I liked a bracelet and he remembers it and buys it for me later, or he remembers and listens when I tell him about my day. Remembering small things is important. Support is also very important. As a young, successful actor, it can get intimidating for men. They can’t process it.”

Ananya further highlighted behaviours she considers unacceptable in a relationship. “Gaslighting is one. Manipulation, if they have done something wrong. Another is disloyalty—not just the big things but smaller things like not acknowledging their partner in public and disrespecting them. Another red flag would be ego, like not being able to see your partner succeed," she shared.

Rumours of Ananya dating Walker Blanco surfaced after the two were spotted together at the Ambani family’s cruise party during the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

A source told India Today, "Ananya met Walker on the cruise, and soon sparks flew between the duo. The two are currently getting to know each other and have fostered a great friendship. Walker is based in Jamnagar and works for the Ambanis at the Vantara Animal Park."
