Hanuman Ansh continues its strong run at the box office, with the spiritual drama inching closer to the Rs 170-crore mark in India gross. As the film completes 33 days in theatres, its team met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow. The film’s director Vishal Chaturvedi, producer and members of the cast paid a visit to the Chief Minister and shared their experiences of making the spiritual drama.

The Chief Minister’s Office shared pictures from the meeting on its official X handle. During the interaction, the team discussed the film and some of its key sequences centred on Neem Karoli Baba and the Nath Sect tradition.

The Nath sect is a Hindu spiritual tradition associated with Lord Shiva and known for its focus on yoga, meditation and ascetic practices.

According to the team, Yogi Adityanath also watched important scenes featuring references to Gorakhnath and the Nath Sect tradition. The film depicts the close connection between Neem Karoli Baba and saints associated with the Nath tradition.

Director Vishal Chaturvedi shared insights into the film’s portrayal of Neem Karoli Baba’s early spiritual journey. According to him, Neem Karoli Baba spent part of his early years in the company of saints belonging to the Nath tradition.

The filmmaker further claimed that Neem Karoli Baba gained spiritual and divine powers through his association with Nath saints. These aspects form an important part of Hanuman Ansh, which explores the spiritual life and journey of Neem Karoli Baba.

The meeting also gave the cast an opportunity to discuss their experiences of working on the film with the Chief Minister. The team described the interaction with Yogi Adityanath and their conversation about the film as a significant moment.
