The images, which spread rapidly across X, had fans convinced a surprise celebrity romance had entered the chat. Some users even started connecting the dots with the Kardashian-Jenner family’s never-ending headline cycle — from rumours linking Kim Kardashian to Lewis Hamilton to the internet’s ongoing obsession with Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet and also Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi.

Were Khloe Kardashian and Michael B Jordan actually captured together?

Well, not exactly. The now-viral photos showed Khloe wearing a black bodycon mini dress with a leather jacket, while Michael appeared in an animal-print shirt layered over a white vest. In several snaps, the pair seemed to be holding hands while leaving what looked like a dinner date, with paparazzi flashes adding extra “hard launch” energy to the whole thing.

But eagle-eyed social media users quickly spotted something was off. The images were later identified as AI-generated, with fans pointing out strange facial details, inconsistent hairstyles and other visual glitches that screamed “generated by a robot having a chaotic day”. Some versions of the photos even carried labels showing they had been created using artificial intelligence.

How did fans react online?

At first? Pure chaos. Many users genuinely believed the photos were real, with reactions ranging from shock to full-blown excitement. One X user wrote, “Why is KHLOE KARDASHIAN holding hands with MICHAEL B JORDAN??? Are they dating????” Others soon stepped in to clarify that the pictures were digitally created and not from an actual outing.

So far, neither Khloe nor Michael has addressed the rumours, probably because explaining AI-generated gossip sounds exhausting.

Who have they dated before?

Khloe Kardashian was previously in a highly publicised relationship with NBA player Tristan Thompson. The former couple share two children, daughter True Thompson and son Tatum, whose birth via surrogacy was confirmed in 2022.
