Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin's magnum-opus 'Kalki 2898 AD' is unstoppable at the box office as it marches towards Rs 600 crore worldwide. In India, the film collected Rs 343 crore nett in just five days. Going by the initial trends, the Telugu and Hindi versions are raking in the moolah compared to other languages. The sci-fi film has been breaking record after record ever since it released in theatres on June 27.

Vyjayanthi Movies, the film's production house, announced that 'Kalki 2898 AD' grossed Rs 555 crore in four days. On its fifth day at the box office, the film added yet another Rs 35 crore nett in India. If the overseas collection is added, the film is likely to cross Rs 600 crore worldwide today, July 2.

The five-day total collection of 'Kalki 2898 AD' now stands at Rs 343.6 crore nett in India. The state-wise breakup shows that the Telugu and Hindi versions are being embraced by the audiences.

While the Telugu version earned Rs 182 crore, the Hindi version amassed Rs 128 crore on Monday, July 1. The Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions raked in Rs 20.3 crore, Rs 11.2 crore and Rs 2.1 crore, respectively.

'Kalki 2898 AD' recorded an occupancy of 47.18 per cent (Telugu version) on July 1 in India, with maximum turnout during the evening and night shows. It is to be seen how the film will hold its fort during the weekdays.

Not just India, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is also performing well in Russia.

Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is a sci-fi adventure film blended with Indian mythology. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in lead roles, while Shobhana, Pasupathy, Saswata Chatterjee, Anna Ben, Disha Patani and Brahmanandam feature in supporting roles.

Vyjayanthi Movies bankrolled this venture on a mammoth budget of Rs 600 crore, according to reports.
